About WeaveGrid
Frequently Asked Questions
The EV Managed Charging Pilot program is available to Tesla, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, and Lexus electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
If your vehicle is not listed above, you may also enroll in the program with a Wallbox® or ChargePoint® home charging station.
‍Stay tuned for updates on other supported vehicle makes and chargers in the future.
Automatic Smart Charging is available to customers who enroll in the EV Managed Charging Pilot program and select the participation option for Automatic Smart Charging. This participation option is only available for customers who enroll with a Tesla vehicle, Wallbox®, or ChargePoint® home charging station.
The Automatic Smart Charging participation option is not recommended for customers with shared metering for vehicle charging, such as an apartment complex garage.
Once your EV is connected in the registration process and you've been enrolled in the program, your charging will be optimally scheduled each time you plug in at home.
WeaveGrid identifies the lowest-cost periods you can charge in order to meet your upcoming driving needs (while considering overall grid conditions) and automatically schedules your EV to charge during those periods.
You'll receive notifications about your upcoming schedule through your preferred method (web and/or SMS texts) and can skip your proposed charge schedule if needed.
Georgia Power’s EV Managed Charging Pilot enrollment window will close September 2024. The pilot program is scheduled to conclude in July 2025, but Georgia Power can discontinue the pilot at any time.
You will receive a $50 Tango gift card within about 90 days of enrolling as long as you stay connected to WeaveGrid for at least 60 days.
If you charge at home at least twice a month and stay enrolled and connected until the pilot ends (you must also be enrolled for a minimum of 9 months) and participate in periodic surveys and information requests regarding the pilot, you will receive another $50 gift card when the pilot ends.
Your failure to participate in the pilot for its entire duration or overriding Automatic Smart Charging schedules on a regular basis may disqualify you from receiving the $50 gift card when the pilot ends.
WeaveGrid is free for EV drivers and helps you access valuable benefits, save money, and simplify your charging experience.
